Mrinal Roy
Chief Executive Officer

In 2017, Mrinal Roy joined Beximco LPG as the Chief Advisor. In 2018, he became the Chief Executive Officer. Prior to his time at Beximco, he had worked in various projects and companies in India, including being the Annulated Executive Director IOC (Indian Oil Corporation), and the CEO of a joint venture between Indian Oil Corporation Ltd and Petronas National Berhard, Malaysia.

An Engineer by qualification, Mr. Roy brings forth decades of experience in the oil & gas industry and is in fact one of the leading authorities in the LPG sector in the Indian sub-continent. Upon becoming the CEO of Beximco, he set the company in motion – to achieve its goal of becoming one of the most renowned LPG brands, not just in Bangladesh but across the world. The journey doesn’t end there though as Mr. Roy keeps on growing, attending a wide variety of training institutions and learning a diverse array of skills like advanced welding technology, middle management and human resource management. Despite being the CEO, Mr. Roy adopts a very hands-on approach – coaching and guiding personnel of every level in the organization.

Imran Maqbool
Chief Financial Officer

With almost 28 years of experience in Financial Planning & Reporting, Treasury Operations, Revenue Management, Project Management, Process Engineering and Feasibility Analysis, Imran Maqbool is a man of many talents. Completing his FCA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, he was an FITM (Fellow Member of Institute of Taxation Management) in the Institute of Taxation Management of Pakistan and prior to Beximco, worked at Azgard Nine Limited, Lahore as their Chief Financial Officer. He had completed his MBA from Pakistan and is amongst a handful of Certified Forensic & Investigative Auditor (CFIA).
Imran Maqbool is an effective communicator with excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills. His vast array of expertise includes examining and analyzing records, financial statements, identifying strengths and weaknesses in financial functions as well as managing systems to effectively improve efficiency and increase cost savings, productivity and bottom lines. In fact, he has also designed the internal controls for different departments of the company. He is also experienced in new projects and BMR projects.

M Muntasir Alam
Chief Commercial Officer

Experienced senior management executive with excellent commercial strategic vision backed by strong leadership and decision-making skills. He has over 18 years of experience in brand marketing & advertising, sales management, supply chain management & commercial procurement. A versatile professional offering extensive years senior level experience in areas of Strategy Formulation, Commercial Operations Management, Project Management, Business Transformation & Business Development. Having started his career at Beximco LPG in 2016 as the Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Alam was soon promoted to the position of Chief Commercial Officer and later handed additional responsibilities of managing the overall business operations as well.

Md Mehedi Hasan
Chief Marketing Officer

Md. Mehedi Hasan, recently, has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Beximco LPG. Mehedi started his career in 2005 with Unilever Bangladesh Limited. In his 11 years of span in Unilever Bangladesh Limited Mehedi gained experience in Sales, Trade Development, Merchandising and Channel Development while working in different tiers of Customer Development Function.
He joined Beximco LPG in 2016 as a DGM and later started leading the Sales and Marketing function as General Manager from 2018. With his auspicious leadership and vast field exposure he secured a position for Beximco LPG, only in four years, in a highly competitive market.
Academically, Mehedi completed his graduation and post-graduation from the Department of Public Administration, Dhaka University.
With the greater responsibility of Chief Marketing Officer, Md. Mehedi Hasan looks forward to continuing the market expansion and trust building among the customers.
